Privacy Policy
Kuwait National Investor · Last updated 18 September 2026
This policy explains how Kuwait National Investor (“KNINV”, “we”) handles information in the KNINV ERP system and its companion mobile applications for iOS and Android.
1. Who this applies to
KNINV ERP is an internal business system. It is not a consumer product and is not open to public registration. Accounts are created only by KNINV for its own employees, partners and authorised contractors. If you do not hold an account issued by KNINV, the system holds no information about you through this application.
2. What the applications collect
| Data | Why |
|---|---|
| Account details (name, work email address, assigned role) | To authenticate you and control what you may view or change. |
| Business records you create (tasks, projects, leads, customers, invoices, accounting entries) | These are KNINV's business records. They are the purpose of the system. |
| A push notification token for each device you sign in on | To deliver notifications such as task assignments and deadline reminders to that device. |
| Standard technical logs (IP address, timestamps, browser or app version) | Security, troubleshooting and detecting unauthorised access. |
The mobile applications are secure containers for the same web system. They do not access your contacts, photos, camera, microphone, location, health data, calendar or files. They contain no advertising, no analytics SDKs and no third-party trackers.
3. How the information is used
Information is used only to operate the system for KNINV's business: authenticating users, displaying and processing work records, sending notifications, and maintaining security. It is not used to build advertising profiles or to make automated decisions about individuals.
We do not sell, rent or trade personal information, and we do not share it for advertising purposes.
4. Service providers
Operating the system requires a small number of providers, who process data only on our instructions:
- Hetzner Online GmbH (Germany) — hosting of the application and database.
- Google Firebase Cloud Messaging — delivery of push notifications. Firebase receives the device token and the notification text, which is limited to what is needed to display the alert.
- Hostinger — outgoing and incoming email for the system.
- Apple and Google — the notification services built into iOS and Android, which route notifications to your device.
5. Where data is stored
Application data is stored on servers located in Germany. Notification delivery necessarily involves systems operated internationally by Apple and Google. By using the system you understand that data is processed outside Kuwait for these purposes.
6. Security
All connections use encrypted HTTPS. Access requires an individual account and password, and permissions are limited by role so that users see only what their work requires. Credentials such as mail passwords and service keys are stored encrypted. Backups are taken regularly. No system can be guaranteed absolutely secure, but we take reasonable measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the information held.
7. How long data is kept
Business and accounting records are retained for as long as required for KNINV's operations and to satisfy Kuwaiti legal and regulatory obligations, including commercial and tax record keeping. Device push tokens are deleted automatically when they stop being valid, and when you sign out of or remove the application. Technical logs are kept for a limited period for security purposes.
8. Your choices
- Notifications can be turned off at any time in your device settings, or by removing the application. This does not affect your access to the system.
- Access and correction — you may ask to see the personal information held about you and to have inaccurate details corrected.
- Deletion — you may request deletion of personal information, subject to records we are legally required to retain.
To make a request, contact us using the details below. Note that business records created in the course of your work belong to KNINV and are retained as company records.
9. Children
The system is intended solely for adult employees and authorised business users. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
10. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the revised version will be published at this address with an updated date. Material changes affecting users will be communicated directly.
